I want to meet her

She was different and she knew it.

She always knew that she would do something great in her life, love someone greatly, or survive a great heartbreak.

She was strong.

I always read about she, I want to meet her.

“She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings.”

“She’s been through more hell than you could ever know. But, that’s what gave her beauty edge. You can’t touch a women that can wear pain like the grandest of diamonds around her neck.”

“She needed a hero, so that’s what she became.”

“She was brave and broken and strong all at once.”

“She believed she could, so she did.”

“She was fierce, she was strong, she wasn’t simple. She was crazy and sometimes she barely slept. She always had something to say. She had flaws that was okay. When she was down, she got right back up.”

“She stood in the storm, and when the wind did not blow her away, she adjusted her sail.”

“She was love, she was attitude, she was strength wrapped in beauty she was the type of woman who struck fear in the heart’s of weak men, she was the type of woman who only a strong man could adore.”

“She’s a badass with a good heart , soft but strong. Unapologetic and honest. She’s the type of woman you go to war beside, the type of woman you marry.”

They write often about her, about how broken she is, but how strong and beautiful she is, So I wondered about the woman who inspired such amazing words. And I met her.

I actually met her.

I met her everyday. She is my mother, my best friend, she is you and she is me, she is a teacher and doctor, she is a bus driver and waitress, she is a grandmother and daughter, a lover, a wife, a cousin. She is an entrepreneur, a freedom fighter, a nurse and a soldier. She is everywhere,. we’re everywhere. We keep all the men of the world alive, and we teach them to love. We take care of our children, we love our families, we save lives and we save hearts.

We look out for each other. All of us are a little broken, but all of us are strong. All of us are fierce and beautiful .

I finally met her, I finally accept me, I finally understand how foolish women are to try and be equal to men when we are in actual fact, far different and more unique than any other being on this earth.
